How cute...I love 'em. The lace on the one with Miss T's pic is coloured using a felt pen & blended with water, very nice!!
& a new sketch over at http://craftysketches.blogspot.com/
This one done by Liz.

Great sketch, shame I had to muck it up by doing this LO!!!

No my finest moment!!! Whats with the swirls on the side??? It looks like wind or something, I think i need to revisit this LO! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :0)

oh happy day...

the sun is shining..the birds are chirping (just pretend there are now cars zooming by to interrupt there peaceful sounds!!) & I've won a little bit of Kaiser love from this beautiful lady...Ngaire
To celebrate her Guest DT spot with Kaisercraft she had a little giveaway & yay for me :0)
Shes one crafty girl I tell you!! Go & have a look-c at what shes up to if you've not before you'll be hooked.

Also my last LO for 123 Scrapbook Scrap Twist Comp

The last chall was to use Cardstock to create a LO with the twist being you could not use any PP but you could use other embellies. So this is what I came up with...stamped a border, embossed & cut out to create a deco edge & then went from there. Very girlie & I do love this pic of Miss T.

CC over @ Scrap with V

There was a fabulous CC on over at Scrap with V
over the weekend.
I've managed to get a few challenges done, there all great!! Here's what I've done so far...

The photo chall was set by Jodi & we had to alter a photo into something else.
This is my before photo...
& the after.
I used Adobe Photoshop to make the flower into a butterfly. I cropped it really close to the centre to start & then used the Mosaic tiles filter to change the appearance & then the cookie cutter tool to change the shape. Love how it looks & I might do this more often me thinks!!
Kim set the Mystery Chall & this is what I come up with.

Its somewhat similar to how it supposed to look??
& the next is for Kylie's Chall #1
Criteria was...use flower pp, flower transparency, flower chippie & word 'flower' in the title!!

Well, i think its all in there. Boys will be boys & Mums will always have cameras!!

a little scrappin...

Another challenge done for the 123 Scrapbook! Twist Competition.
Week 5 & the chall was...
YOU HAVE TO USE ALCOHOL INKS ON 3 SEPARATE THINGS ON YOUR LAYOUT
THE TWIST: YOU CANNOT USE ACETATE
So this is what I managed to do..

I coloured flowers, buttons & a butterfly!!
Well...Let me say I've used A-Inks i think once before & got into a terrible mess & not used them again!! Then when the twist was that you can't use acetate I had no idea what to do. Asked a friend - Mrs Chris who is an A-Inks expert!! She said that you can use it on anything...so I gave it a go!!
I ended up - in a mess but a happy mess - covering a chippie butterfly in white UTEE & then dripped 'Cranberry' & 'Eggplant' A-Ink onto it & blew on it through a straw to move the ink around, then I dabbed it with some 'Pearl' A-Ink which just made it so pretty!!

What you think?? I think its gorgeous - love the colours & patterns!!

I also coloured some buttons using 'Lettuce' A-Ink, dropped the ink on & gently blew on it through a straw to move the ink around. I did dabbed some 'Pearl' A-Ink on them to.
Then the flowers!! Mrs Chris said you could use the Inks on anything but she did say she'd not tried paper flowers??!! So I'd give it a go..whats the worst that can happen!! I had some Petaloo -Sweet Petites flowers that are very pretty but the stark white colour of them didn't match my LO. Soooo...i inked up the felt pad with some 'Cranberry' & Eggplant' A-Inks & dabbed it on. Magic, it worked perfectly to colour them, I add some 'Pearl' over the top as the colours were a little bright. I love 'em & am very pleased with the end LO.

You know your living in 2009 when...

1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave.

2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years

3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of 3.

4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.

5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don't have e-mail addresses.

6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries.

7 Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the screen.

8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it.

10. You get up in the morning and go on line before getting your coffee.

11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. : )

12. You're reading this and nodding and laughing.

13. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this message.

14. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list

15. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn't a #9 on this list

Found this little piece of laughter while blog stalking...oops I mean surfing :0)
Thanks Tina...love it!! http://scrappedbytina.blogspot.com/
Happy Friday...got some scrappin done this arvo (will show you tomorrow) after a week of being sick...oh how good it is to be well again!!

The last night of winter...the sky beautiful last night, much better then this photo looks!! There were lots of clouds & the wind was blowing strong so they were rolling by quite fast! You can just see a little cloud in this pic.
