retreat scrappin & photos...

Been a bit slack of late but I'm still here..
I was lucky enough to go on a scrapping Retreat a few weekends ago & had a great weekend away!! About 30 ladies & we had a fun time, got to see my sister to so that was good.
On Sunday, at the retreat, I did a photography workshop with
the fabulous Andrea Thompson. What a funny, talented lady, if you ever get
the chance to do a workshop with her go for it!! It was fantastic, its amazing what you can
learn in few hours with a good teacher!! Just the basics but a huge help
with how to take better photos.

Found this cute little guy in the garden & couldn't resist taking his pic!!

Andrea also, very generously, took some photos of us using our own camera's!!
With the right pose & person using the camera anyone can get a good photo,
I'm really pleased, if I say so myself :0) with the pics she took of me!!
I have seen some of the other shots that she took of the other
ladies in the class & theirs look fantastic!!
One tip she gave was always put some lipstick or lipgloss & mascara on before you
have your photo taken, adds some shine & brightens your eyes!!!
So there you go...

she takes amazing photos & this is here motto
"when i see beautiful moments...i see photographs"

a RUBBER CHICKEN, for winning pin the beard on Santa!!

My delightful nephew got a tattoo...Fox symbol??!!!...

A Challenge from over at Scrap with V - scrap a food tradition.
Well ours would be toasting Marshmallows when we go camping BUT
one night at home the kids toasted them over a candle!!
Similar don't you think...
Just for fun, a LO of A at the beach.

SIL & I @ Phillip Island Penguins, we had a great night watching
those cute little guys waddle up the beach!!

This is my 123 Blog Chall LO
The criteria was...
Autumn colours, hand made flower & texture (felt)

Just for fun a LO of MIL & FIL when they were in London.
The ribbon isn't really crocked!! I promise....
A LO for Wendy's 20 piece Challenge over at Scrap with V.
Use 20 pieces of the same thing on a LO, mine was adhesive bling
in the flowers.
Just to be silly, our table at the Retreat decided to play Pass the LO!!
Each started with a base paper & one other item on there paper.
I stated with the white CS base & the blue glitter ribbon.
Then passed it around the table & each person added 1 thing to the page.
I love how mine came back, I even found the perfect photo & title
for the page once I got it back!! LOVE IT :0) & those birds on a wire,
SO CUTE...
