a found a flower tut on u-tube & this is what i made..

& sewed it onto a hair clip for Miss T.

& a LO of A...

The photo was actually taken at Easter last year but I journalled about his end of yr 7 results!
He did VERY well & received a 'gold medal' award at celebration day.

used a pic i took of the Cable Car in the city centre of San-Fran, i loved riding on them, great fun!

Use a given sketch & 3 chippies coloured one colour...three stars are chippie.
found these pics of the kids, Miss T about 3 years ago & A last year, they were roughly the same age in these pics...funny to see them doing similar things at same ages! Cute selfies all the same.

Use 3 different punches on a LO...2 diff size 6 petal flower punch for roses, 3 diff butterfly punches & 1 edge punch for skirt.

A lovely pic of Miss T a few years ago, i have scrapped this pic before but not in such a girlie way!!

BACK TO SCHOOL...mug shots...

Hair straightened & pretty...just for school??? 9pm last night i was hand sewing the hem of the skirt up!!! You tell me this now??? I didn't think it was too long :0)

YES..he was very pleased to have his photo taken!!

this is the 'isn't one enough' look!!

THE SOCKS...anyone who knows A knows he has issues with shoes & socks!! always has & I'm guessing by this mornings shoe/sock issue he always will!!

Socks are about 3mtrs long which didn't help...socks must be worn pulled up at all times...

or you get detention!!

Apparently the only part of his uniform he liked..his Kustom shoes!!!

of course the very cool school bag..that he earned by mowing the lawn !

I hope they have a good day & realise that they have to go back tomorrow :0)

Mine is somewhat the same as class LO, just minus a few embellies!

The pic was taken while we were driving from LA to San Francisco & got a little lost a sunset! We came over a rise & saw this gorgeous tree in the sky with the sunsetting behind, it was just beautiful & the colours were very vivid!! The quote i used was from Albert Einstein...

Stand Still, the trees ahead & bush beside you are not lost.
quite fitting I'd say!

Mission 5...make a card using only pp...

Old Basic Grey as base & all the rest is Kaiser.

a really old Xmas photo of all of us...2003 it was!!

the ribbon isn't that dark irl & looks horrible in the pic but its gorgeous velvet ribbon.

oh so lucky to be not involved & feel a little guilty that i have a safe dry house with so many others without by no fault of their own.

We will try & support you flood victims however we can.

today was a good day...

for me...
I got this is the mail from Heike @ Scrapz.Biz
my pressie from 12 Days of Christmas...
I worked it out to be Day 9 prize...
lots of goodies!!

& I ate this...

Gingerbread Poptart...YUM!!!

even with a cute little snowman print & delish marshmallow like filling.

& I made this.
my LO for the January 123 chall
criteria...colour - purple...word - beautiful...technique - punches
I cut strips of purple pp & punched decorative edge, cut into 1.5cm pieces & then stuck back together in the shape of circle on the LO.

Also made some gorgeous handmade roses using the 6 petal punch in 3 different sizes, i added some antique glass glitter to them too.

'to believe is a beautiful thing' is the title, being a picture taken of Miss T at Easter I thought it fitted well.

I did this all the while my DB & SIL & a band of helpers cleared out my Dad's business in Gympie, at about 11am - midday the Mary river was at nearly 18mtrs & rising!!! It will no doubt be flooded by now but i don't want to ring again just yet. They were super busy clearstuff out when i called this morning to check they hadn't floated down the river themselves...they started moving gear out at 4am this morning!! I hope the flood waters rise & fall quickly, at least that way the mud doesn't have to long to settle & it makes cleaning up much easier.

I finally used some of the very delish Sassafras 'mix & mend' & October Afternoon pp - two of my faves. Just added some lace, ribbon, flowers, chippies, doilies to it. Love this pic of Miss T taken at Disneyland in May, driving one of the Autopia cars. What fun!!

I've used a handmade daisy (Lil Daisies) made by Sandie, a handmade green doily i found at the op-shop & also dyed my paper doily using Lemon Zest glimmermist.

the pic is one i took out of the window of our motel in San Fran, just happened to catch the bird flying past when I was taking pics of the sunset!!
