after my horrid TCR LO this morning....i had to do another...

but this time for the SWV sept inspiration chall, really just for fun!!

i like my lo's so much more when they are a little messy & have some paint on them!!

on a happier note..

my Mum gave me this...

due to the fact that atm i have no oven...

& she DIDN'T want it in her cupboard anymore...

so last night after weeks & weeks & weeks of no baked food...

i cooked a roast chicken & veggies...

YUM!!!

well...i was happy with this lo until i see i here...

the colours look blaw & the scallop edge cs looks horrible cause i couldn't crop it right!!! & you can't see the gorgeous white feather i put under the flowers on the left...

oh well...another pic scrapped.

i am sick atm...can you tell ;0)

Kraft It Up...

Sept Chall...

was an inspiration challenge, taken from this picture...

Only 'must have' is a Kraft bg & go your best with the rest...

so for September Kraft it Up this is what I did...

inspiration i got...

used pic of 2 boys,

banners,

colours -blues, yellow, green & red

white room - scrapped white paint over my kraft bg.

it was fun to do, those banners are too cute I think!!

I really like the colours this week, grey, olive, cocoa & yellow.

I did two LO's but only added one to TCR photo wall

this first LO...

I used a pic of Miss T & A on Ma's farm, he was annoying her & she was getting quite cranky at him. I used a little quote from a book, on the photo, that says 'i feel the same way'!! He was REALLY annoying that afternoon when I was trying to take some nice pics of them. & i finally used my new wood print stamp....love it!!

the 2nd LO...

quite plain & really not that interesting, i did some stitching on the yellow & scratched a border on the green but you can't see it so it looks quite dull... used a pic from our Noosa holiday, managed to get jus Miss T & A in the background of the palm tree, no other people or boats!!

ink...paint...FUN...

just had to share what i did at art corps...

we started with an old hardcover book & this is what it turned into...

amazing what a bit of paint, some ink, charcoal, old mags & loads of inspiration from

...Jill & Ngaire...

we made loads of backgrounds in class & started a few pages.

i've happily spent the morning doing nothing but fiddle with what I started yesterday in class...

i think i like this creating MORE then scrapping

i can't wait until the next class...pity its not till next year!!!

i finally did the 123 Challenge for August...

the criteria was...

the colour YELLOW

technique was MISTING

& the word was SUNSHINE.

got it all in there & in a 'pretty' looking LO too. Used another pic of butterflies in Mum's garden..i think i have a MILLION of these photos!!! & the quote i used around the circle is

'one must have sunshine, freedom & a little flower'

The next LO is for A2Z Scraplets August Challenge..

turned a girlie sketch into a boy one & i'm really happy with this one!!
