I've managed to get a few LO's done...plenty other things to do but oh well...

First is a LO using the May Scrap with V Sketch Chall. Wendy set this one & also its a bit of a cheat as i used all black & white which is another challenge that Wendy set!!

I took this pic of our lovely friend while we were away at Easter, I love it!! Look at that cheeky kid in the background, hes such a ratbag. That fish hes holding ended up down his shorts a few minutes after this photo was taken!! Very funny but very long story :0)

This next LO is for the Black with 2 Challenge.

I even managed to use a Scraplet on my page, the butterfly - which i inked & coated in dimensional magic. The photo is of my Grandma & Great Aunty, standing on Chicken Rock on Ayers Rock. The journalling was what Grandma wrote on the back of the photo, i copied it, traced it onto the LO & then copied over the top, so I've got her actual hand writing with her photo.

What a week...

This week has gone so fast...

here's some pics from the Pussy Cat Dolls Concert

I'm surprised to say that i like their show, i didn't know what to expect & didn't think that I would know many of their songs but what you hear on the radio is what they played. They did put on a good show & had some very fine looking male back-up dancers!

We were sitting in the floor section but in seats, pretty good seats,

got a pic of the two of us...we had a great time.

& a weird one of Lady Gaga...

this was her on the big screen just before the concert started.

I enjoyed her but shes definitely out there!!!!

Notice all the phone screens in front...

I would say that this was the most clothes she wore for the entire show, not very much material in any of her outfits :0)

One was a full body stocking with an apron made out of clear baubles - made to look like bubbles. Don't know what it was supposed to represent but guess it was memorable.

No scrappin to show - been slack.

This pic is of my Dad & brother, i think it was his 2nd (maybe 3rd) birthday. Its funny looking at this photo...that's that spot that my Dad still sits in at the table, the calendar still hangs on the wall in the same spot & now the grandkids sit on his lap to cut their birthday cakes. Gotta love those family traditions!!!

I love this pic of S, i took it while we were away at Easter time at Tin Can Bay (explains the anchor doesn't it!). We have been together for 7 years, hence the title!!

Its teachers strike day today & its raining!!! The kids are already fighting & annoying each other...its all fun & games until someone sticks a wet finger in your ear isn't it!!! I'm betting that the teachers are glad the kids are at home on a wet day like this one.

Here's a few LO i did for the challenges...

I'd loved this challenge, all we were given was a list of sizes to cut your paper & that you had to use CS as a base. You could create your LO however you wanted as long as you could see that the paper sizes were used. The pic is of S & Miss T at a birthday party last year.

This LO had to have different shaped photos, different flowers & flower centres, mixed alphas & a long title. I took these photos of Miss T quite a few years ago, she was looking so lovely & beautiful until she did the last photo in front of the camera!! Love it!!

Here is Miss T enjoying an ice cup at the Kite Festival that was held in Redcliffe over the weekend. I could have stayed & watched the kits all afternoon they are so pretty & HUGE. There were some great stalls & we only bought a few things...well I got a skirt & a set of Babushka dolls (not real ones just cheapies but still cute all the same). A & Miss T bought LOLLIES!! A spent his entire weeks pocket money on lollies, sour bricks, gummy bears, cola bottles, licorice & a gob-stopper. Miss T got some yummy fudge!

Can you tell that once again he didn't want his photo taken. I said just stand there & it won't look like I'm taking your photo, it'll look like I'm taking photo of the kites - see them in the background!! But the little brat kept walking towards the camera & pulling funny faces....this is the best on I got!

Teachers strike tomorrow, so no school for the kiddies. We're off to the travel agent to get some info for our holiday, we are going to New Zealand!!

Also tomorrow night is the Pussy Cat Dolls concert, I'm off to see them with Kylie. This concert is her choice but it'll be good all the same. The support act is Lady Gaga, she should be good!!

I won a prize for this LO of A over at 123 Challenge. Can't believe it!!! I really enjoyed doing this LO & i love the photo of A. I had so much fun taking these photos of him & Miss T down at the beach. The printed photos that I have of these are all there are as I lost them when our compt had a huge meltdown!! They were the latest photos I'd put on & hadn't backed them up :0 Another huge thanks to all the girls over at 123 , love your challenges & your inspiration is just amazing.

Card Challenge...Use the colours of the rainbow on your card!

Sketch Challenge.

Inspiration Challenge...get inspiration from a very cool pic!!

Colour Challenge..use the colours of the Rainbow in specific number...1 purple item, 2 pink 3 green etc & the word 'colour' in title.

Mystery Class...a recipe of what to use on your LO...7 x 5 photo, small alpha title, 5 diff ribbons, 1 patterned border strip, 2 diff pp to make own embellis, Bling, 4 journal strips.

I used a photo of my Mum (standing in the middle) that was taken at her parents 60th Wedding Anniversary, those are her 2 sisters & parents! I will have to scrap the photo of them with her brothers one of these days...
